Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a sharp and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our location in Turkiye. 

Overview: 

The Mechanical Engineer will oversee daily production activities and be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, machines, and devices. They will also play a key role in creating new products, enhancing existing ones, conducting tests and simulations, and supervising the implementation of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities: 

1.      Read and interpret CAD files, technical drawings, and schematics.

2.      Research, design, evaluate, install, and maintain mechanical products and systems.

3.      Collaborate with other engineers to implement procedures, resolve malfunctions, and provide technical information.

4.      Oversee production aspects, including manufacturing methods and product design.

5.      Diagnose and recommend actions for equipment failures or difficulties.

6.      Develop and test alternative designs or processing methods for feasibility and potential applications.

7.      Ensure system components meet design, performance, and regulatory standards.

8.      Recommend design changes to prevent malfunctions.

9.      Assist in developing structural designs using drafting tools or software.

10. Oversee the installation and maintenance of machinery to ensure proper function.

11. Conduct research on equipment feasibility, design, and performance.

12. Provide technical customer service and support.

13. Maximize equipment efficiency and optimize industrial processes.

14. Coordinate maintenance, safety procedures, and material supplies for equipment.

15. Select and install energy-efficient or pollution-reducing equipment.

16. Estimate project costs and submit bids for engineering or construction projects.

17. Recommend energy services that reduce carbon footprints.

18. Evaluate mechanical designs and prototypes for energy performance.

19. Manage the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems.

20. Design integrated systems for improved energy efficiency and apply engineering principles to emerging fields.

21. Free to travel to collaborate with other Digilock facilities.

Requirements: 

1.      Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 

2.      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Turkish. 

a.      Fluent in English is required.

3.      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. 

4.      Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 

5.      Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
