QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
WYG Türkiye is currently seeking a skilled Project Assistant to join our Socio-Economic Consultancy team in Ankara.
This position requires specific qualifications, which include:
- University degree from a reputable university,
- Good knowledge of MS Office,
- Excellent knowledge of English and Turkish (written and spoken),
- Having high level of communication skills both verbal and written,
- Being flexible in working hours and have no travel restrictions,
- Previous experience as a project assistant will be a strong asset,
- At least 2 year of experience in EU-funded projects will be a strong asset,
- No military obligation for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Technical Support
- Prepares monthly project tracking tables,
- Provides support for the preparation of Project outputs,
- Provides administrative support for the timely execution of the project activities with Company’s quality standards,
- Prepares approval requests and correspondences etc.,
- Supports the preparation of administrative orders and addenda etc.,
- Prepares and circulates the documentations related to the project meetings, responsible for the logistics arrangements, attends Project meetings, take meeting minutes, and provides translation support whenever needed,
- Technical and administrative support in connection with the international and local experts working for the Project (e.g., IT support, accommodation support organization of transportation, typing to a certain extent, etc.),
- Archive all incoming and outgoing project related documents and project outputs.
Financial Support
- Timely collection of timesheets and mission reports by the end of each month
- Provides support for the collection of invoices and preparation of interim / final financial claims,
- Prepares VAT Exemption documents,
- Manages the petty cash accounts,
- Responsible for booking/ordering, delivery, and invoicing of any type of procurement.
- Communication with Client, Project Team, and Project Parties,
- Responsible for all correspondence with Client/Beneficiary, Contracting Authority, and key stake holders.
Other Support
- Maintains daily operations of the Project Office,
- Provides logistic support for project activities.
- Supports other tasks for smooth implementation of project activities and in-company communication and knowledge transfer.
