Senior Sector Coordinator – Socio Economic Development, KfW Office Ankara About KfW Development Bank KfW is one of the world’s leading promotional bank. The KfW Representative Office in Ankara is looking to hire a Sector Coordinator Türkiye is one of Germany’s global development partners. KfW implements migration and refugee projects and provides promotional loans for earthquake preparedness and reconstruction on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). We are also implementing projects in the framework of FRIT (Facility for Refugees in Türkiye) on behalf of the EU. Another focus area is providing promotional loans for climate financing and environmental protection and implementing IKI-funds on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). KfW seeks to complement its team in Ankara by hiring a Senior Sector Coordinator for Socio Economic Development As part of the socio-economic development team under the overall leadership of the Director of KfW Office Ankara, the Senior Sector Coordinator will be responsible for the further development and implementation of KfW’s project pipeline in the field of socio-economic development, including, among others, the promotion of formal employment and decent jobs for all, support for SMEs and vocational education. The establishment of strong and trustful working relationships with our key partners from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor, Iskur as well as other development partners such as EU, ILO, DRC AFD, GIZ etc. is considered crucial for this position.
